Dyer's Stormwater Management Board is comprised of three members, each appointed to three year terms.

Duties and Powers

The duties and powers of the Stormwater Management Board are defined in Indiana Code 8-1.5-5, Department of Storm Water Management. Powers include:

  • Hold hearings following public notice
  • Make findings and determinations
  • Install, maintain, and operate a storm water collection and disposal system
  • Make all necessary or desirable improvements of the grounds and premises under its control
  • Issue and sell bonds of the district in the name of the municipality for the acquisition, construction, alteration, addition,or extension of the storm water collection and disposal system or for the refunding of any bonds issued by the board
  • The board has exclusive jurisdiction over the collection and disposal of storm water within the district
