The Clerk-Treasurer is the Chief Financial Officer of the town. In this role, Mrs. Hawrot is responsible for the overall collection and disbursement of funds, the administration of the accounting system, the signing of checks or warrants, clerk of the Town Council, custodian of municipal and utility records, and issuer of licenses. Additionally, she has broad powers to hire and supervise employees and oversee the operation of the municipal budget.

The rental registration fee is $25.00 and is due by January 31st. Late fee is additional $50.00 if not paid by the 31st.
Pet licenses are due by May 31st. The fee for spayed or neutered dogs is $5.00, for unsprayed or unneutered dogs the fee is $20.00. The fee is also $5.00 for spayed or neutered cats and $10.00 for unsprayed or unneutered cats.
Business licenses are due by April 1st. The fee is $75. If you do not register or renew your business license by April 1st, 2013 there will be a late fee of $300.
All of these are paid at the Clerk-Treasurer’s office. The hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and on Thursday 7:30 AM until 6:00 PM.
